Bernard Bouhnik, creator of the brand Metal Pointu’s founds it in 1991. A first store opening in the chic St Germain des Près in 1994 confirms the style Metal Pointu’s: a raw look, a soft and smooth touch, a manual finish craft. Known all over the world, Metal Pointu’s has its origins in Paris before settling in Europe. The line knows a huge success and appears in the biggest fashion magazines such as Elle, In Style, Marie-Claire or Cosmopolitain. At the time the line is available in many Pointu’s metal outlets but also in department stores such as Printemps, Bon Marché or Galeries Lafayette. Fashion designers like Agnes B, Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Emmanuelle Khan, Givenchy and Barbara Bui order her personalized jewelery.
For more than 20 years Metal Pointu’s has been offering a collection of jewelry made of metal or brass, sometimes decorated with pearls or crystals, then patinated with aged silver or bronze. Detonating associations with a futuristic spirit that offer an inimitable rock’n’roll look.
